Mackie the Conehead

During Trish's visit, we noticed a little bump on Mack's belly.  I took her to the vet, and we found out it was a malignant tumor.  We scheduled her surgery for the Wednesday after Jen & Bob's wedding.  We didn't want to make her wear the cone, but on the Saturday after the surgery, she had to go back to the vet to get some of her staples fixed and more added - despite our attempts to watch her, she was messing with it.  So she's been stuck in the cone ever since.  She broke one (luckily we already had one and the vet gave us one).  She's getting her staples removed this week, and she can't wait!!  The vet confirmed that they got all of it in her surgery, so no other treatment is needed.  Here are some pics of our pouty girl...
