As you've probably heard, it's been very cold in Chicago. We're finally getting back to normal - 20s! On Monday, my office was closed, and John worked from home, so JD stayed home with us. On Tuesday, we got a call from JD's daycare that their heat wasn't working, so they had to close. On Wednesday, JD's daycare was closed due to flooding (a pipe broke). Since they flooded, they're closed the rest of this week. We were super lucky - JD went to the alternate daycare on Tuesday and Wednesday, and one of his teachers baby-sat him at our place today. Mack & JD were both great for Ms. Preni. John is staying home tomorrow, so JD will be attending Daddy Daycare! Here are a few pictures from this week...

Due to the cold temps, I made Mack wear her hooded sweatshirt and jacket on her walks, and we kept them under 10 minutes.
Someone LOVES their book about DOGS. We're pretty sure that "dog" is his first word. At least that's what he's trying to say.
