Minnesota Visit (Post #1)

Since John had to go to Red Wing, MN for an audit, we decided to make it a family trip.  JD, Mackie, and I are spending the week with Grammy and Grandpa while John works in Red Wing.  We arrived on Saturday, and we went to the Centennial Lakes Art Festival on Sunday for some shopping and lunch.  John left for Red Wing after dinner on Sunday.  JD has been having a pretty good week - he's a little out of sorts with sleeping in a different place plus his bottom teeth have finally poked through his gums.  All in all, he's been a sweet little monkey.  Here are some pictures from the beginning of our adventure.  More to come in future posts.

Mommy & JD at the Art Festival - I think he looks like me with our smiley eyes...

The point of this picture isn't how much stuff we brought with us (although we brought a lot!) - it's to show Mackie hiding in the middle.  She's been enjoying looking out the window, long walks, and sleeping in various places like the below spot and on Grammy's side of the bed.

JD got a water activity mat from Grammy and Grandpa.  The outside edge inflates with air, and you add water to the middle.  There are 5 floating items in the water area.  It's pretty fun esp. during tummy time!

JD showing one of his new bibs that Mommy got during a visit to Target.  He looks like such a big boy with hair like that.
